SixtySix Records

was founded by Heidi Bobal and Martin Oberneder in 2008. They own the recording and rehearsal facilities "Room 66" in Vienna and thought that the addition of a label and publishing was a great enhancement of their services. At first they offered only a simple access to digital distribution, basic promotion and general help for DIY bands. From this period date the coops on this page, various styles are represented here, from Christian R & B to German Pop and Jazzfusion. 

But soon they both started to engage themselves with label releases, the direction was soon clear - they both favour rock and related genres and first releases featured a hard rock single by Youno and a powerpop single by Akasha. 

As the artist roster grew a network of partners grew - mastering studios in the USA, booking-agents, video producers, photographers, visgists, internet radio and many more, so artists can feel themselves truly supported all round. The Winter Rock Festival, first introduced in January 2011 is their latest effort to support the Austrian rock music community.
