Thomas Griesser born 1961 in Vienna, Austria, guitarist and composer. Co-founder of t.dag project.
The concept album Conversions emerged in 2006 as a solo project, in 2010 it was taken up again, and several instruments were re-recorded, including drums, bass and brass.
The compositions for the amazing follow up, Conversions 2 - Refugees Of Desire emerged right after the album was released, and recordings started in Summer 2011. Thomas Griesser takes the exciting contemporary fusion on to the next level on this album also featuring vocals & rap this time.
When Thomas Griesser started the "Remnants" project, he planned to record material he wrote for and played with his band t.dag and that had never been recorded before or had been re -arranged.
Working on these songs he was also inspired to write a bunch of completely new songs, he finally decided to keep and put all together on a double album.
2016 now finally saw the release of Conversions 3 - the final part of the Conversions trilogy. True to style yet with lots of innovations in style and new guest musicians. Very topical also the contents (lyrical, as far as it goes and visual) - it's all about Borders, Fences and Refugees
Being a photographer as well Thomas Griesser added a compelling picture for each of the tracks of both CDs and made unique and artful booklets. Shown here: On Timeless Trails - Fence Without Sense - Years And Fears (Coversions I)
